B+ Moms is for women helping raise children they didn’t birth. Our mission is to build community among women who mother beyond biology—a place to be understood, form friendships, and feel supported in a role that doesn’t always come with a simple title.
Our vision includes opportunities for women and their children to connect with families who share similar experiences. We also believe moms deserve space to enjoy themselves as women.

Who is a B+ Mom?
A woman helping raise a child she didn’t birth. That may be a stepmom, adoptive mom, grandmother, auntie, cousin, godmother, or another woman who has taken on a mothering role.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes. Both nominations and self-nominations are welcome. Use the same form and tell us a little about your story.
What should I write in the nomination?
Tell us about her relationship to the child or children and how she shows up for them. It doesn’t have to be long or perfectly written. A few sincere sentences are enough.
Will her story be shared publicly?
We’ll ask each selected mom for permission before sharing her name or story publicly. Nominations and contact information are reviewed privately.
